Ricky and Stephen helped us ring in this New Year with a Great Gatsby themed New Year’s Eve party of a lifetime. Feathers, Crystals, Glitter, Balloons, Lights, and much more made this evening celebration into a real-life Gatsby party. Ricky and Stephen have such great energy and you can tell when they walk into a room together. They met through mutual friends and years later, on the last day of 2016 they tied the knot. The evening started off with fruit infused waters and cocktails while guests arrived, followed by a ten minute video made by the couple telling their story of love. Afterwards their friend Amanda had the honor of officiating the wedding which led to happy tears among family and friends. Cocktail hour hit, toasts were given, first dances were accomplished, and the rest was history. At 11:59pm the happy couple got up on stage while their guests grabbed their noisemakers and party hats and rang in the New Year! Ricky and Stephen really showed us that “a little party never killed nobody!” (cue laughter? I am no comedian). More pictures to come later this month.
I would like to thank you both tremendously for being an amazing couple and for being Just Planned Events first ever same-sex couple.
